Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Holloway, LA. Mrs. Vandersypen, 89, of Deville, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008, in Christus St. Frances Hospital, Alexandria. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Holloway and a native and lifelong resident of Buckeye. Mrs. Vandersypen was a seamstress at Camp Claibourne during WWII and was an office manager for Greens Department Store in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Vandersypen; parents, Joe and Addie Lawrence Tarver; brother, Earnest Sanson; sister, Ethel Wells; two grandchildren, Eric Thiels and Lorette Thiels Dupuy. Those left to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Freddie Carroll Bradford of Pineville, Annie Marie Thiels and husband Larry of Denham Springs, Martha Janice Deville and husband Herley of Pineville; brother, J. W. Sanson of Alexandria; sister, Jodie Vandersypen of Pineville, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Sterne, Theron Deville, Wayne Deville, Allen Paul, Stephen Paul, Joey Deville, Everett Thiels and Dale Guillory. Honorary pallbearers will be Herley Deville, Kenneth Lachney, Larry Thiels, Sherman Rivers, Terry Paul, Vance Bradford and William Bradford.
