Andy Tacker is my Grandfather and my Mother, Dorothy Ann Tacker Parmenter was his daughter. My Mom had 3 children, Gary Lee Parmenter, Gwen Ann Parmenter and Jeanie Parmenter.If any anyone has any more information on the Tacker or my GrandMother Mattie Leigh please email me. I am not certain if my GrandMother spelled her name Leigh or if it was Lee. I did verify that the Tacker name was Tucker and the first Tacker from our family incorrectly spelled his name on legal papers. So Tucker became Tacker. His name was Seaborn Tucker. He was born on a ship on the way to the USA in the 1660's. His parents died on the trip over and the captain of the ship took him and gave him his name. That information was from www.ancestry.com.
