| Daughter of Hulda Halberg, who came here from Sweden and Eddie Gustafson whose parents came from Sweden. Her mother died when Della was quite small and her father remarried and had two more children. Della married Leslie Byron Stotesbery and gave birth to ten children, all of whom lived well into adulthood. She was a great mother and farm wife who kept chickens, had a big garden, canned produce, made jams, and baked a dozen loaves of bread every other day. Much loved by all her children. - submitted by

| Raised on a farm in Big Stone County and was always a farmer at heart. One of ten siblings, he married Thalia Funk and was the father of four children. As a young man, he apprenticed to a local electrician and that became his career. He could fix or build almost anything and built a house for his family in 1957 in Graceville, Minnesota. He obtained his pilot's license and was part owner of two airplanes - he loved to fly. He sang and whistled beautifully and all his life loved to dance. He died on Thanksgiving Day in 1995 and is buried in Clinton, Minnesota, near his parents. - submitted by
