| Henry Sinkinson is my father, Marie Sinkinson (Sexton). He was born in Port Washington NY and lived his life on Long Island until his death. His family originates from Kendal England and the geneology has been traced to 1600's. I have been to Kendal and visited the church cemetary where our descendants are buried. The family was quite wealthy and owned a Wine and Spirits shop at 27 Highgate, Kendal. They sold to the royal family. My father's oldest brother is James Sinkinson XIII. The family entered the US thru Maine at the end of the 1870's...my father's father, James Sinkinson XII moved to NYC.
