Bernard ''Bernie'' Mulroy, 50, of Zerby Ave., Edwardsville, died Saturday at
Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, KingstonBorn in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Bernard and Ariel Meeker Mulroy, and he attended Wilkes-Barre schools.
He had been employed by the Pringle Borough Sanitation Department and the United Rehabilitation Service, Wilkes-Barre.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Pricilla Hargrave and Harriet Mulroy.
Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Monday from the William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, Rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth, with the Rev. Anita J. Ambrose officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton.

Marie is my mother.
Here is her obituary. She attended Wampum Grade School, graduated in 1940 from Wampum High School and attended Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. She worked at National Tube in Ellwood City, Fashion Hosiery, City Market and most recently at Supportive Services, all of Beaver Falls. She was a charter member of St. Mary's PTG and was on the Bereavement Committee and Angel Fund. She was a charter member of the Beaver Falls Area Democratic Women's Club and was a member of the Beaver County Federation of Democratic Women and former regional director. She was a longtime committeewoman for the First Ward in Beaver Falls. She also served on the Executive Board of the Beaver County Democratic Party. Marie was recently honored as Woman of the Year by the Democratic Women of Beaver County.
She was the proud mother of Maureen A. Larkin, Crestwood, N.Y.; Edward T. Mulroy, Ford City, Pa.; Reardon A. Mulroy, Ford City, Pa.; Nancy J. Myers, Parker, Pa., and Jon M. Mulroy, Beaver Falls; 10 grandchildren, Devin Larkin, Kara Mulroy, Erin Mulroy, Ryan Mulroy, Tobbie Krantz, Molly Pepper, Patrick Mulroy, Adrienne McBrien, Casey McBrien and Aaron Myers and six great-grandchildren, Emma Krantz, Tatum Krantz, Eliot Krantz, Ethan Mulroy, Alexis Mulroy and Logan Myers.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Reardon (Ricky) Mulroy.
Marie will be remembered as a sweet, selfless woman who always had a kind word for everyone. She will be dearly missed by all, especially her loving family.
Visiting hours will be Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, Wampum. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, St. Mary Church.
Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Beaver Falls. - submitted by
