The obituary of one of their children, David M. McDaris, age 52, of Mills River, was published in Blue Ridge Now, Hendersonville, NC, on January 28, 2002. He died in Hendersonville, on January 26, 2002. He was survived by his wife, Virginia Black Revis, of Skyland, a brother, Charles McDaris, of Skyland, and two sisters, Cindy Gibson, of Fairview, and Jennifer Woody, of Swannanoa.
