Alberga Sheldon Jones, Sr.
NEDERLAND - Alberga Sheldon Jones, Sr., 84, of Nederland passed away the Medical Center of Southeast Texas on March 18, 2008. He was born in Roatan, Honduras C.A. on August 11, 1923 to the late Richard D. and Adelaide D. Jones.
He was a devoted husband to Clara Woods Jones of Nederland; father of sons, Mikel Jones and wife, Jeannine and Sheldon Jones and wife, Susie, all of Nederland; daughter, Sherri Jones of Nederland; brother to Andy Jones and wife, Blanca of Roatan Honduras, Fayer Norman of Louisiana, and Adelaide Paige of Yucipa, California; grandfather of 5 grandchildren; great-grandfather of 1 great-grandchild; and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, March 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland under the direction of Jay Kolb.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Harry Adams and Brooks Bentsinger officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County - submitted by
