Harry Plez Geaslin was my grandfather. He had a daughter, Patricia Ann Geaslin (sept 1945), from his second marriage to Gladys Watson Lindsey. Patricia is my mother. Harry divorced and married Grace (Ido not know her maiden name) they had four children: Harry Daniel, Joannie, Jackie, and Bon. I have not seen or heard from any of them since the late '70's. My Grandfather, Harry Geaslin's mother was Grace Rodgers Geaslin, His father was Hiram Plez Geaslin.
Hiram's first wife was Joanne Penn. After she died he was left with Paul, Sanford, Bon, and Dessie. He married my Great Grandmother Grace Rodgers not long after they had several chidren my grandfather Harry Plez being one of them.
I have more information but I have misplaced it and can not find it at the moment. Will write back when I find it.
I am very interested in finding out if we have Jewish roots. I think by the time my grandfather came along they had assimilated.

| Tammy, I am your mom's cousin. Uncle Cotch (Harry) was my uncle. The woman he married after your grandmother was actually also named Gladys. Your mom would hv called my mom Aunt Eck and she is still living at 95. Hv wondered many times how your mom was. We called her Bear. I was a little kid the last time I saw her. Hv worked on our genealogy and hv not found any Jewish info. I hv our genealogy, though and would be glad to share.
