Driehorst, Edna Virginia, 94, of 414 Richland Ave., Wheeling (WV) died Monday, October 2, 2000 in Bell Nursing Home Belmont, Ohio.
She was born March 2, 1906 in Benwood (WV), a daughter of the late Edward C. Hepe and Emma Ruckman Hepe Raster.
She was a Lutheran. She enjoyed many years of crocheting afghans for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward O. Driehorst, Sr in 1967; two sons, Louis and Edward Driehorst, Jr and a daughter, Norma Jean Miller.
Surviving are 10 grandchildren, Paula Mellot and her husband Jim of Shadyside (OH), Jean Ann Archer and her husband, John of Reading PA, Mark Miller of Shadyside OH, Bruce Driehorst of Erie, PA; Darcy Boldt of Hewitt MN, Debra Mammenga of Sherburn MN, Rick of Savage MN, Jeff of Washburn WI, Scott of Sherburn MN, Greg of Welcome MN; 27 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 441 37th St., Bellaire OH, Thursday 11:00am until
time of the funeral services at 1:00pm with the Rev. Alice Phillips officiating. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial
Park Cemetery, Sherrard, WV.

Obituary
Karen Ann Driehorst was born on June 19, 1955 in Spring Valley, Minnesota the daughter of Maynard and LaVonne (Miland) Martens. She attended
Mountain Lake Schools and on November 23, 1974 married Richard Driehorst in Mountain Lake. Karen loved cats, enjoyed reading, movies and
crocheting. She also was fond of feeding the neighborhood wildlife. Karen was always a loving and kind person. She took care of her family before
herself and was loved by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Jason, David and his wife Lori; mother, LaVonne Martens; 2 brothers, Douglas and his wife, Nancy;
Daniel; Debra and Janet Martens. She was preceded in death by her father, Maynard and sister, Sharon Goess.
Services: Thursday, August 6, 2009, 4 PM, at the McNearney Funeral Home 1220 East 3rd Avenue, Shakopee, MN.
Interment: Valley Cemetery, Shakopee, MN
