This is a long stretch,
I have three journals of trips around the world in 1934-1936.
I picked up from a thrift/antique store in Philadelphia PA ten years ago. The owner of these journals I believe to be Virginia Clyde Beggs born September 22,1914
Virginia's Father was Joseph Dilworth Beggs born 1884-1949 he went to Princeton University class of 1908 his permanent address was Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Virginia's Mother was Elizabeth Kerbaugh-Beggs born October 20, 1908 of Villa Nova, Pennsylvania.
Elizabeth die December 10, 1958 and is buried in San Diego, California.
Virginia had a brother Joseph Dilworth Beggs Jr.
I believe your Joseph Richard Dilworth is a relative of Virginia C Beggs.
If so, these journals are loaded with memorabilia with tickets of operas, concerts, private planes, ships sailed to places like Cuba, Jamaica, Bermuda, France, England, Panama and Mexico just to name a few.
There are black and white photos of archeological sites with the late great Abbé Breuil, Dr. Simpson and G.F. Carter who were all renown archeologists.
I have in this collection a hand written invitation to Virginia from Captain Wilkinson of R.M.S Carinthia inviting her to dine with him on her twenty first birthday.
There are actual pictures of the Hoover Dam being build. Virginia and her mother Elizabeth were both members of the San Diego Museum Association.
