She is survived by her mother, Edith Kuklok of Millington, IL; one sister, Debra (Ben) Lawyer-Eaton of Plano, IL; two brothers, Wayne (Sally) Kuklok of Millington and Germain I "Jack" (Jan) Kuklok, Jr. of Norway, IL; three nieces, Melissa (Tim) Stillmunkes, Mandi Lawyer and Sara Tighe; and one nephew, Brandon Lawyer; three great-nephews, Damon Taylor and Riley; and beloved dog, Lily. The couple moved to Opole where they farmed until Roman died in August of 1962. In the early 1970's, Lucille moved, living in the St. Cloud, Sartell and Waite Park areas. Lucille retired after working for more than 16 years as a housekeeper for St. Cloud State University. She has been a resident of County Manor Health Care and Retirement Center since April of 2001. Lucille is a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Christian Mothers. Alfred Florian Kuklok, 79, Minnetonka, died Friday morning, December 13, at the N. C. Little Memorial Hospice in Edina, Minnesota. He was the second child born to Nicholas and Agnes Kuklok in Buckman Township, Morrison County, Minnesota on October 17, 1923. He attended school in Langola Township (Rice and Foley). He married Dorothy Smieja on October 24, 1944, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton. Alfred worked for the Royalton Creamery and farmed near Rice until 1951, when he began work with the Northern Pacific Railroad. He started as a carpenter and brick layer for steam boilers until promoted to Assistant Roadmaster in Fargo in 1969, and later that year promoted to Assistant Building and Bridges (B&B) Supervisor at Spokane. The 1970 merger of the Northern Pacific, Great Northern, and Chicago, Burlington and Quincy railroads moved him to Portland, Oregon, where he continued as Assistant B&B Supervisor. In 1973 he was promoted to Midwestern Regional Scale Inspector, where he worked out of Billings, Montana. In 1979, he was promoted to B & B Supervisor in Superior, Wisconsin, where he retired in 1981 after 30 years of service. He and his wife Dorothy retired to St. Paul, and later moved to Minnetonka, where they managed the condominiums in which they lived until mid-2001. Alfred was a lifetime member of the Elks Club, member of the National Association of Retired Railroad Veteran Employees, parishioner at St. Joseph's Catholic Church for 18 years, as well as a Board Member for his Condominium Association. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dorothy; sons Ronald (Janice) of Lilydale; Jerome (Suellen) of Sedona, Arizona; Dennis (Suzanne) of Brinnon, Washington; Robert (Mary Dee) of Northfield; and daughter Annette (Chris) Johnson of Waconia; as well as six grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Douglas, Allison, Audrey, and Kelly Ann; two step-grandchildren, Sarah and Wendy; three sisters, Elvira (Herbert) Stumpf of Pierz; Bibiana (John) Gazett of St. Cloud; Anselma (Alfred) Czech of Grand Rapids; one brother Roger (Karen) of Royalton. Delores and Paul farmed in the Opole area for over 45 years. Delores was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole. She is survived by her husband, Paul, Opole, her daughters and son; Helaine (John) Waletski, Royalton; Janice (Jim) Paggen, Holdingford; LuAnn (Peter) Gregoire, Fargo; Johnita (Bob) Dombrovski, Holdingford; and Mike Kuklok of St. Cloud. Nickie was born on December 6, 1922 in Opole, Minnesota to Isadore and Katherine (Schneider) Kuklok. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII serving as a motor machinist. Nickie married Marcella D. "Marcie" Krupa on November 16, 1948. He operated a dairy farm in the Holdingford area, was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and owned and operated Opole Implement, retiring in 1991. Nickie was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish, and a founding and charter member of the Catholic War Veterans of Opole. Nickie was especially proud of graduating from the Waste Water Treatment program at the St. Cloud Technical College in 1974. As a Master Gardener, Nickie enjoyed tending to his fruit orchard and garden. Nickie is survived by his son, James N. (Joyce) Kuklok of Rice; daughter, Janie (Jim) Frie of Little Falls; five grandchildren, Jeffrey (Maria) Frie of Waite Park, Jon Frie of Fergus Falls, Joseph Frie of San Diego, California, Jesse (Michelle) Kuklok of Sauk Rapids, and Jamie (Allison) Kuklok of St. Cloud; two great grandsons, Austin and Braden Kuklok; brother and sisters, Marie Peternell of St. Stephen, Raymond (Lillian) Kuklok of Sauk Rapids and Evelyn (Wendelin) Neis of St. Cloud. Paul has lived in Country Manor since August of 2008. Paul is a member of Our Lady of Carmel Catholic Church in Opole and he was very active in the church. He had also been a school board member with the District 88 Schools.
